Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of our show, we speak with the award-winning fiction writer Joshua Ferris (born in 1974 in Danville, Illinois). Recently named by The New Yorker Magazine as one of the top "20 Under 40" writers at work today, Ferris is the author of two well-regarded novels, "Then We Came to the End" and "The Unnamed." The former was a finalist for the National Book Award a few years ago --- and also won the PEN/Hemingway Award for best first novel --- and the latter is just now out in paperback. As part of a Book Smart Tulsa event, Ferris will be doing a reading / signing tonight (Monday the 27th) at 7pm at the McBirney Mansion in Tulsa. (More information can be found at booksmarttulsa.com.)
