Fisherman Found Dead on Lake Eufaula

EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a man apparently drowned while fishing on Lake Eufaula.

Authorities say 58-year-old Gary Douglas Rogers of Sallisaw was last heard from at about 2 p.m. Sunday.

A preliminary report says deputies from McIntosh and Haskell counties found Rogers' body and his boat late Sunday. Authorities say Rogers and his boat were discovered just south of Eufaula dam.

The investigation into Rogers' death continues.
