Governor and GRDA Split

State of Oklahoma

Governor Fallin orders a complete review of the Grand River Dam Authority. She named a 15-member committee to do the work yesterday.

This is the latest indication that the Governor is not pleased with the direction of the GRDA.

The Governor would like to stop the GRDA from building a new natural gas fired generation plant. That vote is expected tomorrow by the GRDA board. The plant would cost $300-million.
