Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's program, we welcome Melanie Fry and Steve Liggett, who tell us all about "Oh, Tulsa!" --- a large and exciting exhibition of artworks by scores of artists with Tulsa connections (some live here, some used to, some are famous, some are not, et cetera). Fry is the Guest Curator for this show; Liggett is the Executive Director of Living Arts of Tulsa (at 307 East Brady), where the show will be on view through August 25th. With all sorts of artistic styles and media in the mix --- and with more than 100 works on display, including pieces by Patrick Gordon, Charlotte Rhea, Cynthia Marcoux, and Walt Kosty --- this is really a special show. Indeed, it's sure to appeal to everyone who cares about art and artistry in our local community. Also, there will be an Opening Reception for "Oh, Tulsa!" tomorrow night (Friday the 5th) from 6pm till 9pm at the Living Arts space. (More information is at http://livingarts.org/myers.htm#otulsa.)
