Oklahoma City, oK – Teen pleads guilty in fatal pharmacy shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A teenager has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in an attempted robbery that left another teen dead.

Fifteen-year-old Jevontai Ingram also pleaded guilty Friday to conspiracy to commit a robbery and will testify against two men as part of a deal with Oklahoma County prosecutors in the May 19 death of Antwun Parker.

Ingram was sentenced as a youthful offender to treatment at a state juvenile facility, but he could be sent to an adult prison to serve a life sentence if he fails treatment.

Prosecutors declined comment. Ingram's attorney couldn't be reached for comment.

Authorities say Ingram pulled out a gun as he and Parker tried to rob Reliable Discount Pharmacy.

Pharmacist Jerome Ersland shot Parker, who was unarmed, and has been charged with first-degree murder.
