Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's show, a chat with Paul Dickson. He has just published a new book called "Unwritten Rules of Baseball: The Etiquette, Conventional Wisdom, and Axiomatic Codes of Our National Pastime." Baseball, of course, is all about rules . . . and stats, and records, and numbers, and so forth. But our focus for this edition of StudioTulsa is the vast and various "grey area" of the Summer Game (in terms of behavior, tradition, norms or standards, and so on).
