The precautionary boil advisory is still in effect until further notice. Test results are expected this afternoon.
However, the City’s water supply has reached an adequate capacity to resume normal water use, with the exception of the stipulations contained in the precautionary boil advisory.
City Manager Thom Moton has consulted with staff and based on the water system's storage levels has lifted the outdoor water use restriction.
City Pools and splash pads will remain closed until the advisory is lifted.
The next update will be sent at 10 a.m. this morning unless the situation warrants an immediate response.
