Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we present a chat with the funny and intellectually wide-ranging writer A.J. Jacobs. His books include "The Know-It-All," "The Year of Living Biblically," and "The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life as an Experiment" (the last of which has just recently been published). Jacobs is also heard every now and again as a commentator on NPR; his amusing, interesting, and thematic brand of "participatory journalism" --- mainly inspired by the late George Plimpton, a nonfiction writer who once suited-up with the Detroit Lions --- has won him many loyal fans. Jacobs will appear in Tulsa tomorrow night (Tuesday the 17th) at 7pm at a free-to-the-public lecture/signing at Congregation B'nai Emunah (near 17th and Peoria). It's a "BooksmartTulsa" event; more information at booksmarttulsa.com.
