On the Next All This Jazz, on the Eve of the Tony Awards: Killer Show Tunes!

Listen for the next All This Jazz, starting at 9pm on Saturday the 10th, right here on KWGS-FM / Public Radio Tulsa. We'll hear from Art Farmer, McCoy Tyner, Louis Hayes, Benny Green, and many more. And our third-hour theme -- on the eve of the 71st Annual Tony Awards, and running from 11pm until midnight -- will be Show Tunes. Thus we'll dig jazz takes on music from the likes of "The Music Man," "South Pacific," "West Side Story," "Oklahoma!," and other such wonderful fare.

Every Saturday night, both online and over the air, ATJ delivers three hours of recent and classic jazz, across a wide range of styles, from 9 o'clock till midnight. From Duke Ellington to Duke Pearson, Paul Desmond to Paul Motian, Art Blakey to Art Taylor, and Gerry Mulligan to Geri Allen, All This Jazz is delighted by modern (and post-modern!) jazz in its many forms, and we love sharing the same with our listeners.

Please join us! Also, note that ATJ playlist information can usually be found here, although you'll have to scroll down a bit...and we also maintain a Facebook page for our show. Thank you.

Scott Gregory started working at Public Radio Tulsa in 2006; he started listening to public radio circa 1980, when he and NPR both marked their tenth birthdays (although only one of them commemorated the occasion with a party at Skate World). Scott became this radio station's Operations Director in the summer of 2023; he also hosts and programs All This Jazz, which airs every Saturday night on Public Radio 89.5-1 from 9pm till midnight.
