Tulsa Sheriff Stanley Glanz wants a judge to order the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to pick-up over 200 inmates the sheriff is holding for the DOC.
The inmates have been convicted of crimes and are awaiting transfer to the state prisons. But, the DOC says it doesn't have room for the inmates either and they have a statewide backlog of over 1,000 inmates awaiting transfer.
Glanz says his jail is over crowded and has been cited by the state health department.
