Workers in Tulsa say they were told today the Post Office will proceed with plans to shut down the Tulsa mail sorting center. The Post Office’s Dione Montague in Dallas says any such closure would be under a new time line. The new timeline will help everyone better plan. Workers say they were told new target date for closure in Tulsa is 2014. Initially, the Tulsa mail sorting center was set to close this year.
Many of the Tulsa jobs will be headed to Oklahoma City.
