Pilot Suspended over Transgender Student Comments

TIA

Frontier Airlines says it has suspended a pilot over comments authorities deemed threatening to an Oklahoma transgender student and that led to a school closure.
Frontier spokesman Jonathan Freed said in a statement Monday the pilot was suspended Aug. 13 pending an investigation into threats directed at a student in Achille  Public Schools, about 160 miles southeast of Oklahoma City near the Texas border.
Freed says the Denver-based airline does not condone discrimination but declined to release further details.
Achille schools closed for two days last week after adults made threatening comments on Facebook about a 12-year-old transgender girl using a public girls' bathroom at the school district.
Officials say no arrests have been made but the child's mother sought a protective order after a man confronted the mother in person.
