A Tulsa judge orders 24-year-old Edwin Daniels to stand trial for the murder of a 17-year-old Tulsa teenage girl. He is accused in the death of Kayla Ferrante.
She was a passenger in her boy friend’s car last May when Daniels, allegedly, fired upon the car with an AK 47. The bullet entered the car at the license plate and followed a trajectory through the car, striking her in the back and eventually going through the car’s windshield.
Police believe Daniels mistook the car as one belonging to a rival gang member. He was arrested during the summer after an extensive police investigation.
Ferrante has just graduated from Tulsa’s Memorial High School.
