Small Earthquake in Central Oklahoma

PADEN, Okla. (AP) — The U.S. Geological Survey reports a small earthquake was recorded near Paden in central Oklahoma.

The U.S.G.S., said Sunday that the 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 11 p.m. Saturday about three miles southwest of Paden in Okfuskee County. The epicenter is about 55 miles east of Oklahoma City.

The Okfuskee County sheriff's office says there have been no reports of injuries or damage.

Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
