Winter Weather for Tulsa

The National Weather Service Office in Tulsa is advising of accumulating sleet and snow in Tulsa, starting overnight. Forecasters say the precipitation will begin falling about three tomorrow morning in Tulsa and will move west to east across the region.

Forecasters say 1-to-3 inches will be possible across east central Oklahoma to north central parts of the state. Here in Tulsa, they are anticipating around one-inch accumulation. That is enough, however, to create hazardous driving conditions across the city.

To the east of Tulsa, in far northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, they will be dealing with freezing rain. In fact, the Weather Service advises there could be power interruptions in that region.
