The polls in Tulsa and Glenpool are opening tomorrow. Tulsa County Election Board secretary, Patty Bryant, says these are very important issues.
"Well these type of elections usually don't turn out that many voters, but we hope that people will go vote. It's a very important issue that I hope people will study and then go to the polls and vote," says Bryant.
The two separate ballots for Tulsa and Glenpool will be concerning the improvements of technology and security in the public schools.
"We have two propositions: one is for the registered voters that are in the Tulsa Public Schools, and then we also have one in Glenpool Public Schools," says Bryant. "The one for Tulsa Public Schools is a 38 million dollar bond, and the one for the Glenpool Public Schools is for one million dollars."
Any state issue or government issue I.D. is acceptable, as long as your name substantially conforms with the way you are in the precinct registry.
The pools open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
All locations for this election have not changed, but Bryant says there will be change seen in June.
