Tulsa Shock players to hold clinic in Moore

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Players and coaches from the WNBA's Tulsa Shock are to travel to the tornado-ravaged town of Moore next week to put on a free basketball clinic for those affected by the May 20 storm.

The clinic begins Monday morning at Westmoore High School and is open to any Moore elementary or middle school children whose schools were damaged or destroyed in the tornado.

The tornado killed 24, injured hundreds and was among a cluster of violent storms that raked central Oklahoma last month.

Several former NBA stars hosted a free youth basketball clinic on Thursday in Moore for elementary school-age children affected by the storm.
