Tulsa Recycling Plant Catches Fire, No Injuries

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Tulsa recycling plant has burned and it took eight fire trucks to bring the blaze under control.

No one was injured in the Tuesday fire.

35 firefighters responded to the blaze at the Tulsa Recycling and Transfer Plant.

Officials say the plant wasn't operating at the time of the 2 a.m. fire.

Fire officials say the plant is structurally undamaged and could open as soon as the afternoon.

Firefighters were to remain at the facility, hauling out trash and spraying it with water to make sure it doesn't re-ignite.
