Oklahoma Congressman Meets with Tulsa Area Business Leaders

U-S House

The federal budget, infrastructure, and water resources are discussed by Oklahoma’s 2nd District Congressman at a Tulsa Regional Chamber forum. Markwayne Mullin says the budget is the top priority, but he also addressed the country’s aging infrastructure. A member of the House Transportation Committee, he says revenue must be found to address the problem. He’s looking at cutting what he calls waste elsewhere and using the savings for infrastructure projects.

Mullin, a freshman Republican, is one of 11 members chosen to serve on the bipartisan ‘Panel on 21st Century Freight Transportation’.
