SWINK, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 7-year-old Valliant girl has died of injuries suffered in a collision in southeastern Oklahoma.

The OHP says the girl — whose name has not been released — died Friday at a hospital in Dallas where she was taken following the crash on Tuesday near the Choctaw County town of Swink.

The OHP says the crash occurred when a sport utility vehicle the girl was riding in pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer rig on U.S. Highway 70.

The driver of the SUV was hospitalized in stable condition while a 4-year-old boy who was in the SUV and the driver of the semi were both treated and released.
