The commando killed in a raid against the Islamic State group in Iraq has been identified by an Army spokesman as Master Sergeant Joshua Wheeler from Roland, Oklahoma. Wheeler, just 39 years old, was killed Thursday in Kirkuk, Iraq when several U.S. special operations troops and Iraqi forces raided a compound and freed approximately 70 prisoners from captivity. Joshua Wheeler was the first American to die in combat since the U.S. launched Operation Inherent Resolve last year.
