Tulsa Student Hit By Car

KWGS News File Photo

A 14-year old student from McLain 7th Grade Center was struck by a car while crossing North Harvard this morning.

Tulsa Police department's Leland Ashley says the student was transported to the local hospital with possible injuries to the leg, but the injuries were not life threatening.

The student was not in a crosswalk. Ashley says the driver did nothing wrong, and did not receive a citation.

The accident occurred at a bus stop near the Celia Clinton Elementary School just North of Pine at around 8:15.
