Governor Fallin says she is lobbying the Pentagon on Tulsa’s behalf. The city is trying to get the military to base its new F-35 fighter jets in Tulsa.

The Governor says the recent passage of the local Vision tax question, with $9.4 million set aside for upgrades at the Air Guard Station,  got Washington’s attention. She has been to the Pentagon and urged leaders to consider Tulsa as the new home for its next generation fighters,

She made the comments at a Tulsa Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
