An October 5th Preliminary Hearing is set for 61-year-old Stanley Vernon Majors. He is the man accused of the hate crime murder of his next door neighbor. In a video arraignment, a judge entered a not guilty plea on Majors' behalf in Tulsa District Court.

Majors is accused of killing 37-year-old Khalid Jabara. The Jabara's family says Majors had a history of taunting them with racial slurs and even ran over one family member with his car. He was out on bond from that complaint when the shooting took place. There was also a protective order in effect at the time of the killing.

Majors remains in jail in Tulsa County Jail without bond.
