A collapsing thunderstorm last night knocked out power to much of Claremore in Rogers County.

The storm caused roof and tree damage across that city. A Braum’s Ice Cream Parlor sustained heavy damage and patients were evacuated from the Claremore Hospital when it lost power and started flooding.

Power has been restored to the hospital, but much of Claremore is still without power. The Rogers County Emergency Management Agency reports no injuries associated with the storm.
