Joining the chorus of those wanting an investigation into Russian election meddling is Oklahoma U.S. Senator James Lankford. On Fox News, Lankford says the U.S. has known for years about Russian interference in other countries but didn’t seem to worry about it.
Lankford says it needs any investigation should be a bipartisan inquiry. He does not want to see politics play a role into any investigation of Russian election interference.
Lankford is a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He says he has seen no evidence Russia interfered with the vote-counting process. He says, however there is evidence of hacking and propaganda.
