2018 TCC Wish Book Focuses on "Gift of Higher Education"

The Sears Wish Book may be a thing of the past, but the Tulsa Community College Wish Book is out again.

The holiday catalog–themed fundraiser focuses on various scholarships this year.

"Our second chance program that supports incarcerated students all the way through our honors program. There are also some opportunities in there for African-American student scholarships and leadership development, disability resources, art, theatre, you name it. It runs the gamut," said TCC Foundation Director of Development Rachel Hutchings.

The most popular item in last year's Wish Book was equipment for the medical sonography program. Hutchings said the shift to scholarships this year was necessary.

"One-third of our students are first-generation college students, and we’re really seeing a big need out there for scholarships and financial aid," Hutchings said.

The 2018 TC Wish Book can be viewed online.
