No decision yet! The Tulsa city council holds off on a vote on whether to create an Office of Independent Monitor. Mayor Bynum wants the office to be another set of eyes on police internal affairs reports.

Citizens spoke out last night. Some felt the current ordinance is too weak and has been "watered down." Others voice opposition saying the office would begin its work with an automatic bias against police.

The council will next take up the idea at its September 11th meeting.
