New COVID-19 Testing Sites Open in Tulsa

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Several new COVID-19 testing sites are now open in Tulsa.

Tulsa-area residents who need testing because they have COVID-19 symptoms can set up an appointment for drive-thru testing in the parking lot of the Walmart at 81st Street and Lewis Avenue, 2019 E. 81st St. The site is supported by Walmart, eTrueNorth, and state and local officials.

Testing has no out-of-pocket cost and is open to all Tulsans with symptoms. All health care providers and first responders can get tested regardless of whether they are exhibiting symptoms.

Appointments must be scheduled online. For questions regarding testing at this site, call 1-800-635-8611. The 81st and Lewis store is the only local Walmart location in Tulsa participating in testing, and testing is not available inside Walmart stores.

Two additional COVID-19 testing sites are open in Tulsa through partnerships between the state health department, Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma.

OSU-Tulsa is offering drive-thru testing at the Center for Health Sciences at 1111 W 17th St. by appointment only for people with COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to someone who has tested positive. People interested in an appointment should call 918-599-5300 for a screening.

OU is offering drive-thru testing at the OU-Tulsa campus, 4502 E 41st St., by appointment only for people with COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to someone who has tested positive. People interested in an appointment should call 918-619-4980 for a screening.

A list of other testing sites in the state is available online.
