Four people have filed to be the next Chief of the Cherokees. They are:
- Chuck Hoskins, Junior
- David Walkingstick
- Rhonda Fleming
- Dick Lay
They all filed before yesterday’s deadline. There will also be eight tribal council seats on the ballot. The election is in May.
Current Chief Bill John Baker can not seek re-election.
