An Oklahoma City lawmaker wants to raise the minimum wage in Oklahoma.
State Senator George Young has prefiled legislation calling for the wage to increase from $7.25 an hour to $10.50.
The Democrat’s proposal is expected to face stiff opposition from the Republican controlled state legislature.
