Candidates Push for Donations as Election Day Nears

KWGS News

The candidates for Governor are busy with last minute fundraising with next week’s general election only days away.

Democrat Joe Dorman comes to Tulsa to meet with supporters less than a week before the polls open. He is well behind incumbent Republican Governor Mary Fallin, with a total of nearly one and a half million raised compared to her four and a half million. He says he’s not phased though, he believes Oklahomans are tired of business as usual at the capitol.

In the latest reporting, Governor Fallin had nearly 700-thousand dollars in cash on hand, while Dorman had about 120-thousand.
