Tulsa, Oklahoma – On StudioTulsa today, we hear from Dr. Rene Clausen, the celebrated choral composer and conductor who's led The Concordia Choir at Concordia College in Minnesota since the mid-1980s. Clausen's works as a composer are widely performed across the U.S.; his efforts as a conductor have taken him (more than once) to Carnegie Hall. He is visiting the University of Tulsa this week as a Feagin Guest Artist. In particular, he will soon give a concert alongside the winners of the recent Bela Rozsa Composition Competition at the TU School of Music. He joins us today to talk about his varied and accomplished career in music.
