Drier Weather for Green Country

NWS-Graphic

Drier air behind the departing system will work its way into the area as the day progresses, resulting in decreasing cloud cover. Settled weather conditions will continue through the weekend and into the first part of next week, along with warmer temperatures.

Next front will move into the area Tuesday. Downslope flow behind the boundary will result in another day of warm temperatures. We will keep a low rain chances going for the far eastern sections of the forecast area late Monday night/early Tuesday as models keep the bulk ofmoisture return well to the east.

By the middle of the week, southwesterly flow aloft deepens as an upper low digs south along the west coast. Rain chances will increase late Wednesday and continue through at least first part of the next weekend as this feature moves east and into the central U.S.
