Fire Threat Elevated in Strong Winds

State Forestry Service

Northwest winds will gust 30 to 40 mph thru early afternoon across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with the strongest gusts expected to be along and north of Highway 412.

The strong winds and dry air in place will yield elevated fire weather danger conditions across southeast Oklahoma and west of Highway 75 in northeast Oklahoma.
