It has been a busy overnight for Tulsa Fire fighters and dispatchers. They have been working almost non-stop because of fireworks related fires overnight.
Fireworks are illegal inside the Tulsa City limits. That did not stop people from sitting them off last night. One fireworks related blaze left several people without a place to stay, following an apartment fire, near 21st and Southwest Blvd.
A large grass fire north of Sand Springs on Highway 97 is also being blamed on fireworks.
