The Give & Take on Medicaid Expansion, The Oklahoma Plan, SB 605, and House Bill 1750

What does all of this mean?

Join us for the next Give & Take Wednesday, March 27  at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to discuss what SB 605 and the Oklahoma Plan propose to do and how it would affect thousands of Oklahomans. We'll also discuss the latest proposal of House Bill 1750  and how these two bills are similar and different from the traditional concept of Medicaid Expansion.

The event begins with a tour of the Food Bank at 6:00 p.m. followed by a community conversation at 6:30 p.m. with Susan Savage, Morton Comprehensive Health Services; MaryAnn Martin, Oklahoma Health Care Authority; and Carly Putnam, Oklahoma PolicyInstitute; and moderated by Public Radio Tulsa's Matt Trotter. The evening will conclude with your questions!

Light refreshments prepared by the Food Bank will be served. The event is free but registration is required. REGISTERHERE

What is The Give & Take?  It’s a Public Radio Tulsa event series that is an opportunity to build community among public radio listeners and encourage civil discourse on the important issues facing our city, state, and nation, all in a relaxed setting. We also have door prizes! For questions, contact Meghann Ray at meghann-ray@utulsa.edu or (918) 631-3117.
