By Rich Fisher

Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's edition of StudioTulsa, we present a conversation with our longtime book reviewer, Nancy Pearl. Now a librarian based in Seattle, and formerly a bookseller and librarian right here in T-Town, Nancy is also the author of a bestselling series of books about books (which includes the titles "Book Lust" and "More Book Lust"). In offering a healthy stack of gift-giving suggestions for all those avid readers and ardent bibliophiles on your list, Nancy has (as usual) covered a lot of ground: history, biography, fiction, kid's books, poetry, graphic novels, mysteries, etc.

Here are the books she discussed on the program with our host Rich Fisher:

Pete Dexter's "Spooner"
Vivian Swift's "When Wanderers Cease to Roam: A Traveler's Journal of Staying Put"
David Finkel's "The Good Soldiers"
Libba Bray's "Going Bovine"
Rebecca Stead's "When You Reach Me"
Emmanuel Guibert's "The Photographer"
Nicholson Baker's "The Anthologist"
Margaret Mahy's "Bubble Trouble"
Caroline Moorehead's "Dancing to the Precipice: The Life of Lucie de la Tour du Pin, Eyewitness to an Era"
Tim Gautreaux's "The Missing"
Jane Haddam's "Living Witness"
