A woman in her 60s is Oklahoma County's first case of COVID-19, bringing the state's total number of cases to four.
State health officials said the woman recently traveled to Florida. She is considered a "presumptive positive" case, meaning a state lab returned a positive result that has not yet been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Oklahoma's other cases are an active-duty airman at Altus Air Force Base who recently traveled to the Seattle area, a Tulsa County woman in her 20s who recently traveled to Italy and a Tulsa County man in his 50s who recently traveled to Italy.
There is no link between the Tulsa County cases.
So far, the Tulsa County man is Oklahoma's only confirmed case of COVID-19. The Tulsa Health Department reported he has recovered from the illness caused by the coronavirus, meaning he has had two negative tests.
Common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, cough and difficulty breathing. People experiencing those symptoms are asked to call a health care provider or their local health department before going to a hospital or clinic to be seen.
The illness is spread through prolonged, close contact with someone who has it.
