Tulsa, Oklahoma – Throughout the year so far, INCOG has been collecting and processing public opinion on how to better serve Tulsa County residents with mass transit options. And now, Fast Forward, the first-ever regional mass transit plan created for our area, is being unveiled by INCOG and its associates. The Fast Forward Draft Plan will be announced tonight (Thursday the 21st) at a free-to-the-public Open House, which lasts from 6pm till 8pm, at the Central Center at Centennial Park (near 6th and Peoria). Our guests today are James Wagner, a Senior Transportation Planner with INCOG, and Mike McAnelly, a Project Manager with Jacobs Engineering, which has been working with INCOG on the plan. As these two tell us on today's show, the public will be encouraged --- at tonight's event, and for about a month thereafter --- to review the plan and submit comments to INCOG staff for consideration. How can we best improve and increase mass transit in the Greater Tulsa Metro? Such is the focus of tonight's event --- and today's edition of our program. (Also, you'll find much more about this matter at fastforwardplan.org.)
