Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Opera will soon begin its new season with Rossini's "Barber of Seville," which will be staged at the Tulsa PAC on October 8th (at 7:30pm), 14th (at 7:30pm), and 16th (at 2:30pm). Starring in this production, which is to be presented in Italian with English subtitles, will be Sarah Coburn, who earned a Master of Music degree from Oklahoma City University before embarking on an international opera career. Coburn is our guest today. A coloratura singer who's been hailed by Opera News for her "silvery, resonant soprano" voice, Coburn has had leading roles with the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, and other world-class companies.
