Tulsa, Oklahoma – On this edition of our show, we offer a fun, funny, and often fascinating chat with the noted author Christopher Paul Curtis, winner of the Tulsa Library Trust's 2009 Anne V. Zarrow Award for Young Readers' Literature. His books include "Bud, Not Buddy" and "Bucking the Sarge" --- among several others --- and as we learn on today's program, Curtis began his serious efforts at writing during the half-hour breaks he's take as a young man while working on an auto-assembly line in his home town of Flint, Michigan. Curtis is scheduled to appear at free-to-the-public events on Friday the 28th at 7pm (at the TCCL's Central Branch) and Saturday the 29th at 10am (at the TCCL's Hardesty Regional Library).
