A National Expert Predicts Continued Economic Growth for Oklahoma and the Nation in 2015

KWGS News

Tulsa area business leaders hear a fairly rosy economic prediction for the state and nation in 2015. Growth will continue at an even faster pace through the next year is the expectation of Scott Colbert, Chief Economist for Commerce Bank.

He says the big driving factors are increasing employment and low interest rates. And he says even falling energy prices should not keep down consumer growth. Colbert was keynote speaker at the Tulsa Chamber and OSU Spears School of Business Economic Outlook Conference.
