And...since Herbie Hancock turned 79 as recently as April 12th, our show’s third-hour theme (beginning at 11pm) will be Herbie's Tunes. Thus we’ll hear various jazz greats doing such familiar Hancock themes as "Speak Like a Child" and "Cantalope Island" and "Sly" (to name but a few). And elsewhere in the show, we'll dig music by Aaron Diehl, Kurt Elling, Claudia Acuna, Pepper Adams, and many more.
