On the day after International Women’s Day, and with March being Women’s History Month, our program’s third-hour theme (running from 11pm to midnight) will be Women in Jazz. We’ll dig music by Mary Halvorson (born 1980), Tia Fuller (born 1976), Mary Lou Williams (1910-1981), and Carla Bley (born 1936; shown here), to name just a few.
