Thus we'll hear from Booker Ervin, Thelonious Monk (shown here), Dianne Reeves, Chucho Valdes, Bill Charlap, and other jazz greats born in the 10th month. And elsewhere in our program, we'll listen to the music of Mel Powell, Dexter Gordon, Christian Sands, and Joey Baron, among others.
