Oklahoma DMVs Test Out Extended Hours

Department of Public Safety

The Department of Public Safety has announced the arrival of extended hours at three driver’s license offices.

In an effort to provide better customer service and make wait times and lines shorter, DPS says offices in Oklahoma City, Broken Arrow, and the Tulsa East Metroplex will be opening earlier and closing later.

The schedule is as follows:

Oklahoma City (728 East I-240 Service Road):

7 a.m. – 6:45 p.m. Monday – Friday

Broken Arrow (1635 South Main Street):

7 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

7 a.m. – 6:45 p.m. Monday and Thursday

Tulsa Eastgate (14002 E 21st Street):

6:30 a.m. – 6:45 p.m. Monday – Friday

Sarah Stewart from DPS says if these hours catch on, to expect them to stick around and be implemented at other locations later.
