Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble: Concert 3 "Rustic Gardens

This week, we’ll hear the third concert of the current season offered by the Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble now marking its 17th year of performances, the program given on Tuesday, January 21st at St Paul’s Cathedral in Oklahoma City. The program featured guest pianist Stephen Buck and guest flutist Amy Porter who joined Brightmusic clarinetist and co-artistic director Chad Burrow, violinists Gregory Lee and Katrin Stamatis, violist Mark Neumann and cellist Jonathan Ruck to play Libby Larsen's "Barn Dances," the "Quintet for Clarinet and Strings in B-flat Major, Op 34" of Carl Maria von Weber, the "Quartet for Flute and Strings in D Major, K 285" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Arnold Schoenberg's "Chamber Symphony No. 1, Op 9" arranged for mixed quintet by Anton Webern.

Performance Oklahoma is heard each Wednesday evening at 8pm and Saturday morning at 8am on Classical KUCO and Saturday evening at 8pm on Classical KWTU.
