The Jeannette Sias Memorial Concert
Marking its 16th anniversary year of performances, the Brightmusic Society of Oklahoma presented the third concert of its series this season on Tuesday, January 15th at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City, the program dedicated in memory of Jeannette Sias and featuring two works from the Russian Romantic Music tradition, the Sonata for Cello and Piano in g minor, Op 19 by Sergei Rachmaninov and the Quintet for Piano and Strings in g minor, Op 30 of Sergei Taneyev. Featured musicians include violinists Gregory Lee and Katrin Stamatis, violist Mark Neumann, cellists Meredith Blecha-Wells and Jonathan Ruck and pianists Ruirui Ouyang and Amy I-Lin Cheng.
