Performance Oklahoma: Polonsky-Weiss Piano Duo

Praised by the Cleveland Plain Dealer for his “inspired virtuosity,” pianist Orion Weiss joins his wife, the pianist Anna Polonsky described by the Washington Post as “consistently captivating” in piano four-hand performances, the couple, sharing a special affinity and enthusiasm for the duo piano repertoire and appearing together in concerts across America. Featured as the guest ensemble for Chamber Music in Oklahoma’s third concert this season, the Polonsky-Weiss Piano Duo appeared on Sunday, February 25th at Christ the King Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, and offered two duets by Franz Schubert, the Allegro in a minor D 947 "Lebenssturme," and the Andantino Varié in b minor from the Divertissement sur des motifs originaux Francais D 823; the Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann Op 23 by Johannes Brahms, the Petite Suite of Claude Debussy, and Souvenirs Op 28 by Samuel Barber.
